delivers rotor-messages on top of wx event
Basically wx event handler is used as transport for wx-rotor-events, which wrap rotor-messages.
Since wx-event loop is mainly GUI-loop, i.e. singleton, there are no different execution contexts, i.e. only one (main) executing thread; hence, there is no sense of having multiple supervisors.
The wx-supervisor (and it's actors) role in rotor
messaging is to abstract destination endpoints from other non-wx (I/O) event loops, i.e. show some information in corresponding field/window/frame/... Hence, the receiving rotor-messages actors should be aware of your wx-application system, i.e. hold refences to appropriate fields/windows etc.
The commands translator (i.e. from click on the button to the rotor
-message send) should be also performed on wx-specific actors.

overrideprotectedvirtualnoexcept |
cancels timer (to be implemented in descendants)
Implements rotor::supervisor_t.
|
overrideprotectedvirtualnoexcept |
starts non-recurring timer (to be implemented in descendants)
Implements rotor::supervisor_t.

overridevirtualnoexcept |
enqueues messages thread safe way and triggers processing
This is the only method for deliver message outside of rotor
context. Basically it is put
and process
in the event loop context.
The thread-safety should be guaranteed by derived class and/or used event-loop.
This method is used for messaging between supervisors with different localities, event loops or threads.
Implements rotor::supervisor_t.

overridevirtualnoexcept |
thread-safe version of do_shutdown
, i.e. send shutdown request let it be processed by the supervisor
Implements rotor::supervisor_t.
|
overridevirtualnoexcept |
thread-safe version of do_process
Starts supervisor to processing messages queue in safe thread/loop context. Once it becomes empty, the method returns
